This process is anticipatory. A pool of qualified candidates will be created following this process, and will be used to staff similar equivalent or lower level positions for indeterminate appointments, term appointments, acting appointments, casual, deployments, assignments and secondments.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience* and/or training in the operations, repair and/or maintenance of building infrastructure.
*Minimum 1 year experience in the last 3 years.
Certification in a relevant trade.
Possession of valid Fall Protection Certification.
Possession of valid Confined Space Certification.
Experience working in a correctional environment.
English essential

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to work overtime and flexible hours
Must possess a valid provincial driver’s license, with the appropriate endorsements
Reliability Status security clearance
Must be able to work and lift tools, equipment and objects weighing at lease 50 lbs
Must be able to work in a 24/7 environment.
Must have a valid driver license.
