Education
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
E1: Experience in providing written advice to senior management through correspondence, briefings and reports.
E2: Experience in participating in the development, implementation and evaluation of government development programs or project frameworks involving multiple stakeholders.
E3: Experience in building and maintaining partner/stakeholder networks.
E4: Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
E5: Experience in working with Northern communities and/or Aboriginal communities and governments.

K1: Knowledge of northern environmental assessment (EA) legislation.
K2: Knowledge of the issues, challenges and opportunities related to the northern economic development.
K3: Knowledge of federal and territorial government roles and activities related to economic development in northern Canada.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness and ability to travel in northern Canada and/or to small remote communities in northern Canada.
Willingness and ability to work overtime, as required.
Willingness and ability to work in Whitehorse, (Yukon), Yellowknife (Northwest Territories) or Iqaluit (Nunavut). Please indicate in your application for which location (s) you are applying for.
Secret security clearance
