Public Services and Procurement Canada's (PSPC) Real Property Branch manages one of the largest and most diverse portfolios of real estate in the country and is the Government of Canada's real property expert.
In Professional and Technical Services team, we are the specialized technical and management experts for the Ontario Region, providing our advice and services in support of your real property needs. Real property projects include all real property asset acquisitions or improvements, including entering into a lease, fit-up of accommodation space, construction, renovation and remediation of a built-work (building, bridge, dam, road, etc.) or crown-owned land. They are deemed to include wharves, breakwaters, demolition, disposal and maintenance projects or any project activity related to real property assets or space.
Our office locations are at Toronto, Kingston and London in the Ontario region.
A number of professional engineers (P.Eng, licenced in a Canadian jurisdiction), will be required to compliment the growing Centre of Excellence (COE) team for the region. These engineers will be called upon to apply their significant engineering experience and expertise to the delivery of services to PSPC and other government departments.
Projects for which services will be required can range from relatively simple interior fit-ups to new multi-client, multi-building campuses, as well as large infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities of PSPC Engineer, ENG-04 (various disciplines) may include:
• Strategic support to assets
• Design management services
• Coordination with architectural and interior disciplines
• Strategic partnerships / new technology / innovation within the industry
• Site reviews and building systems evaluations
• Professional / technical expertise
• Support of PSPC project management and leadership staff

• Mechanical / HVAC / Controls Engineer
• Electrical Engineer
• Structural / Civil Engineer
• Energy / Sustainability Engineer
• Civil Engineer (Bridges / Dams)
• Marine Engineer

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, geological engineering, naval architecture or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
