EDUCATION
Post-secondary diploma and/or degree in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to aircraft maintenance and/or manufacturing.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence (Category M1 OR Category M2 OR Category E OR Category S).
EXPERIENCE
- Extensive* and recent ** experience in the inspection, modification, repair or manufacturing of aeronautical products.
- Recent** experience in the development and/or application of quality assurance systems*** in a Canadian approved aviation maintenance and/or manufacturing organization.
*Extensive is defined by the performance of complex activities in a wide variety of situations and has six (6) or more years of industry experience or has ten (10) or more years in the field of non-destructive testing.
**Recent is defined by experience acquired within the last 6 years.
***Quality assurance systems can include other equivalent aviation maintenance and/or manufacturing activities.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willing and able to occasionally work outside core business hours and on weekends.
- Willing and able to occasionally perform inspection and oversight activities in various aviation environments that may be hazardous.

- Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Rotor Craft operations.
- Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Airline operations.
- Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Air Taxi operations.
- Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Recreational aircraft.
- Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Manufacturing processes (welding, plating, etc.).
- Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Avionics maintenance and repair.
