The CGC is a federal department responsible to ensure the integrity and marketability of grain for the domestic and international grain trade, from producer to global customer.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
- Post secondary school diploma or certificate in website design, multimedia production or graphic arts; or five years of experience in a related field.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
- Experience designing and producing digital publications, infographics, videos and corporate websites that conform to Government of Canada web standards and the accessibility standards of the World Wide Web Consortium.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Premiere, AfterEffects, DreamWeaver) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using cameras and/or video recording devices to produce images for websites.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience:
- Experience writing, editing and/or adapting content for websites by applying user-centred writing and design principles.
- Experience designing user-centred task based interfaces for web applications.
- Experience creating metadata for web content.
- Experience applying the Canada.ca Content and Information Architecture Specification.
- Experience working with the Government of Canada's Managed Web Service (MWS) or a web content management system.
- Experience designing and producing government websites that conform to Government of Canada web standards and the accessibility standards of the World Wide Web Consortium.

- Ability to use and apply various softwares and technology such as, but not limited to, Dreamweaver, Hyper Text Markup Language 5 (HTML5), the Wet Experience Toolkit (WET), CSS technologies, and the Adobe suite of products, including Acrobat and Photoshop.
