In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Completion of 2 years secondary school education, or a combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Acceptable experience working with Microsoft Office software

Acceptable experience with Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) or allies weapon systems up to and including grenades, machine guns, mortars, howitzers and/or main battle tanks, munitions and explosives, their correct identification of blinds and/or dud munitions and/or salvage, their effects and their safe handling procedures.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Possession of a current St John’s Ambulance Standard First Aid Certification

Experience in land manoeuvre warfare at the tactical level up to and including mechanized Combat Team and the complexity of platoon/troop live-fire training.
Experience conducting range control patrols at a CAF range and training area.
Experience managing CAF operations, personnel and/or administration
Experience templating live-fire field firing ranges
Experience operating various communication equipment including telephone, military radios, hand held communication devices and radio base stations
Experience leading and supervising military personnel and/or civilian employees within DND/CAF.
Experience participating in workplace safety committees.
Experience in emergency response management and/or training.

Knowledge of radio communication procedures and voice procedure.

Possession of a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license (Note: A graduated license is not acceptable)

May be required to work overtime.
Will be required to work outdoors during inclement weather.
Ability to operate four-wheel drive vehicles and walk over rough terrain for several hours at a time.
