EDUCATION :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in an area relevant to the position, Bachelor in Business Administration, Commerce or Public Administration.
• NOTE: The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.
EXPERIENCE :
. Experience in reviewing and editing, revising client documents and negotiating mutually agreed upon revised text.
. Experience working with client requests and resolving issues
. Experience in negotiating with stakeholders
. Experience analyzing business proposals or case studies related to new product development
EDUCATION :
Masters Business Administration or Masters Public Administration
EXPERIENCE :
. Experience in patent processes and evaluation
· Experience with intellectual property licensing
. Experience in new product research design and development
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

KNOWLEDGE :
· Knowledge of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and Canadian Hydrographic Service mandates
· Knowledge of business rules of accounting (Generally Agreed upon Accounting Principles GAAP)
· Knowledge of Canadian Hydrographic Service products such as charts, digital products, publications and data
