EDUCATION
Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics or Electrical Technology OR an acceptable combination of experience, training and/or education.
EXPERIENCE
*Recent experience of maintenance, operation and/or the installation of equipment and the audiovisual systems.
*Recent normally means within the last 3 years.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience as a multimedia technician in a training institute.
Experience working with a Federal Government Agency.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of techniques and practises related to the installation, operation and maintenance of multimedia equipment.
Knowledge of trends and innovations related to multimedia products and services.
Knowledge of trends and innovations related to telephone/PBX products and services.

Ability to develop and maintain an inventory of multimedia equipment.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate the installation, moving, removal and maintenance of multimedia equipment.
