In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Experience providing general labour services performing two or more of the following:
- Assisting skilled tradespersons
- Loading, unloading, and/or moving work materials such as, but not limited to, equipment and furniture
- Use of common hand and/or power tools
- Performing grounds maintenance services such as, but not limited to, grass cutting, raking, trimming trees, snow shoveling

Competencies:

- Working Effectively with Others
- Showing initiative and being action oriented
- Demonstrating Integrity and Respect

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

- Experience in the movement and assembly of furniture and appliances
- Experience in single/married accommodation handover/takeover procedures
- Experience in minor electrical/mechanical repairs
- Experience working in a Canadian or British military environment
- Experience handling Hazardous materials (eg. oils and lubricants)
- Experience in the repair of life Preservers
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications

Reliability Status security clearance

Conditions of Employment:
- Possession of a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s licence or provincial/territorial equivalent
- Possession of, or, ability to obtain / retain a FMT600 operator’s permit
- Willing and able to work overtime as assigned.
- Must wear CSA approved safety footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Will be required to lift and carry heavy items in accordance with general safety practices
- Will be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Will be required to perform a variety of physical tasks, including but not limited to, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, and sitting.
