This selection process will initially be used to staff one vacant permanent position.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to fill current and future vacancies, on a temporary or permanent, part-time or full-time basis.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of secondary school education or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Possession of a current Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS) Certificate.
Possession of a current a firearms license that is valid for restricted firearms (or eligibility to apply for a restricted PAL including successful completion of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and successful completion of the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC))
EXPERIENCE
Experience in utilizing word processing, spreadsheet and inventory control software programs.
Experience in the issuing and receiving of goods and materials in a warehouse environment.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Possession of a current Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate.
Possession of a current forklift operator safety training program certificate

Reliability Status security clearance - ENHANCED RELIABILITY STATUS
NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid Enhanced Reliability security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc . As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
To be granted RCMP security clearance and to maintain the ethical standards of the RCMP, candidates must not be, or have been, involved in certain criminal activities, have been dishonourably discharged, have pending personal bankruptcies, etc. For additional information and a complete list of activities, please visit http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/qualifications-and-requirements and read the section titled “To apply as a police officer, you must not have”, as well as the applicable considerations. The security requirements are the same for all employees of the RCMP.
Possession of a valid Nova Scotia driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to travel, including remote locations, via aircraft and automobile.
