Intent of the process

The purpose of this selection process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates to staff 1 position on an indeterminate (permanent) basis The pool could be used to staff similar positions of various tenures (such as permanent, specified period or casual).

English essential

Information on language requirements

Graduation with a diploma in Geomatics (already obtained or will be obtained by May 30, 2019) from a recognized post-secondary institution with a field component.

You must be prepared to provide the original or a certified true copy of your educational credentials. Candidates with foreign credentials must provide proof of Canadian equivalency. Consult the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials for further information at http://www.cicic.ca/indexe.stm.

Degree equivalency

Experience participating in Hydrographic or Topographic surveys.

Experience operating GPS equipment in (static and RTK mode), total stations and electronic levels.

Knowledge of the theories and principals of marine or land surveying.
