Important financial information:
• Successful candidates may be eligible for staff housing and the reimbursement of relocation costs.
• Isolated Post Allowances (Northern Allowance) range from $19,000 to $31,000, which is based on if the employee has dependents or is occupying staff housing.
• Vacation Travel Assistance is provided twice a year for each eligible member of the household.

Working in the Asset Performance branch of PSPC gives you an opportunity to work with a variety of people, both in and out of the office. You would work as part of a skilled team in liaising with landlords, property managers, contractors and client departments. After initiating work orders for contractors, our team conducts site visits to houses/buildings to assess conditions, completion of repairs, and confirm houses are ready for occupancy. There is also a unique opportunity for internal career progression, with positions at the AS-01, AS-03 and AS-05 level in Iqaluit.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in a northern environment and /or in a cross-cultural environment, specifically as it relates to Inuit Culture and Values
- Experience using financial management information systems such as SIGMA, or SAP database systems, Oracle, etc.
- Experience of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) Financial coding
ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS
In support of the Nunavut Agreement, Nunavut Inuit will be selected for appointment for positions located in Nunavut ahead of all others (including persons with priority entitlement and Veterans).
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Possession of a valid driver's license or access to alternate means of transportation.
