In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other speciality relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.

Recent* and significant** experience proposing issue resolution options specific to the delivery of primary health care in rural, remote and isolated nursing settings.

Recent* and significant** experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of partners or stakeholders.

Recent* and significant** experience in working with First Nations on complex issues.

Experience in providing advice to senior management

Experience developing and implementing program frameworks, strategies and plans.

**Significant: Minimum 2 years

Willingness to travel as per the demands of the job to communities in remote and urban areas using a variety of modes of transportation, such as, small aircraft, snowmobiles, cars, all terrain vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
