• Within the Science and Technology Branch, the incumbent will work in a dynamic environment, supporting the research programs at the St. John’s Research and Development Centre.
• Provide labour support for various field- and greenhouse-based projects. This will include, but is not limited to, aiding in plot setup, seed preparation, seeder setup, fertilizer application, weeding, spraying, recording of data, harvesting, and sample preparation for analysis.
• Recording of samples and data entry.
The successful candidate will be located at the St. John’s Research & Development Centre (St. John’s RDC) located in eastern Newfoundland, close to one of several areas of agricultural production within the province.

Experience in using various hand and power tools.
Experience working in an agricultural or greenhouse setting.
Experience and ability to operate farm equipment.
