Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
NOTE: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. An indeterminate incumbent of a former ES position on June 30, 1967 who became an EC on June 22, 2009, who does not possess the minimum level of education as indicated above is deemed to meet this minimum educational standard based on his/her education, training and/or experience
Experience:
*Recent and **Significant experience in the following areas:
- Experience in gathering and analyzing information and making recommendations based on the analysis to internal or external clients and/or management.
- Experience with financial investment analysis or cost-benefit analysis.
- Experience in preparing and delivering briefings to senior management (management level or higher), stakeholder groups or client organizations.
- Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
*Recent is defined as experience obtained within the last 5 years.
**Significant is defined by the depth, breadth and complexity of the activities performed as it relates to this function, normally acquired over a period of approximately two years
Asset Qualifications
Education:
Possession of a degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or Urban Planning.
Experience:
- Experience managing both internal and external resources in the delivery of real property projects and transactions
- Experience in real estate transactions
- Experience in real estate advisory services
- Experience with Aboriginal Consultation and Accommodation.
- Experience in writing business cases.
- Experience in monitoring and developing investment strategies, portfolio plans or project proposals related to real property.
Operational Requirements:
Must be willing and able to travel, including overnight, as required
