The majority of the positions are located at 73 Leikin Drive in Barrhaven (Ottawa).
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is the Canadian national police service and an agency of the Ministry of Public Safety Canada. The RCMP hires a number of experts in various disciplines, such as finance, human resources, information management, customer service, processing and law enforcement, to name a few.
Random selection may be used at any time during the process to identify which applicants from the inventory will be assessed.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and used to staff similar English Essential positions (including equivalent groups and levels) within the RCMP in Ottawa on an indeterminate and/or term and/or casual basis, with various security requirements.

OPERATIONAL RQUIREMENTS:

Reliability Status security clearance - Positions will require either an RCMP Reliability (Enhanced), Secret or a Top Secret security clearance.

The General Competency Test Level 2 (GCT-2) may be administered for certain positions.
