Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to immediately staff one indeterminate position.

A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various linguistic profiles, security requirements, conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Library and Archives Canada.

EDUCATION:
Two years of post-secondary or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing analysis, advice and recommendations on complex issues.
Experience in developing and preparing strategic business or operational planning activities.
Experience in planning within a department.
Experience in supervising staff, or leading a team in the workplace.
Experience in analyzing and summarizing documents or in preparing briefing materials and reports.

ASSET EDUCATION
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

The term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
