Intent of the process

This process may be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with bilingual imperative CBC/CBC official language proficiencies, various security profiles, various tenures (Indeterminate and Term) and various staffing mechanisms at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

EDUCATION
ED1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

OR

An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, that is comparable to a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization relevant to the work to be performed, may serve as an alternative to meet the minimum education standard. Whenever the minimum education standard is met through this alternative, it is met only for the position being staffed, and candidates must be re-assessed for future appointments or deployments where the manager has decided to use this alternative.

The acceptable combination is defined as a minimum of a college diploma with 3 consecutive years of experience in one of the fields mentioned above.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES
EXP1. Significant * and recent ** experience in providing strategic advice to senior management*** on learning issues.
EXP2. Significant* and recent** experience conducting research, analyzing information and data from different sources in order to develop options and make recommendations to clients or senior management***.
EXP3. Experience leading Human Resources related projects or initiatives.
EXP4. Experience writing various documents for senior management*** such as proposals, reports, presentations, etc.
