There is an immediate need to staff one (1) indeterminate position in Wainwright, Alberta. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions.

EDUCATION:

EDU - Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another relevant specialty relevant to the position OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

• Must attend applicable trade training courses as selected and scheduled by the employer.
• Possession of a valid Alberta driver’s license or equivalent from another province or territory.
• Willingness to travel outside the service area.
• Willingness to work extended hours or adjust work schedule to meet operational requirements.
• Regular lifting of heavy or awkward items.
• Will be required to work outside and in inclement weather.
• Will be required to work in temporary shelters in preparation for or during exercises.
• Candidates may be required to work overtime from time to time.
• Candidates will be required to travel outside of the Wainwright area to conduct assistance visits and/or inspections in remote sites and for training and professional development. Travel may last up to several days or weeks
