In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education
ED1: A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Occupational Certification:
OC 1: Possession of a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License (AME) Category M1and /or M2.

OC 2: Current or recent (within the past 2 years) Aircraft Certifying Authority (ACA) on aircraft of similar types to those operated and/or maintained by Aircraft Services:
• Beechcraft King Air Series
• Cessna Citation Series
• Bombardier (DeHavilland) Dash 8
• Bombardier Challenger CL60 Series

Experience
EX 1: Minimum of five years’ experience as an AME within an Approved Maintenance Organization.

EX 2: Experience working with Quality Assurance Programs and Safety Management Systems

EX 3: Experience working with Aircraft Maintenance Programs of aircraft types similar to those maintained by Aircraft Services Directorate:
• Beechcraft King Air Series
• Cessna Citation Series
• Bombardier (DeHavilland) Dash 8 Series
• Bombardier Challenger CL60 Series

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset Education:
AED 1: Successful completion of a recognized post-secondary program in aircraft maintenance.

Degree equivalency

Asset Experience:
AEX 1: Experience working on Heavy Maintenance or Overhaul projects

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Knowledge
K 1: Knowledge of maintenance requirements used to develop maintenance programs
K 2: Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, as they pertain to maintenance planning schedules, programs and records.
K 3: Knowledge of computerized maintenance tracking systems

Abilities :

• Ability to obtain a valid airport restricted area pass after appointment.
