The intent of this process is to staff one part-time term position in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A pool of qualified or partially qualified candidates may be established from this process and may be used to staff similar positions where tenure, language requirements and security requirements may vary.

Possession of a Dental Assistant Diploma Level II from an accredited Institution
Active registration – with the Manitoba Dental Assistants Association
Must have current CPR certification
Must have a National Dental Assistance Examination Board NDAEB certification
Significant* and recent** experience working as a level II dental assistant.
*Significant is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities on a regular basis, for the experience factor in question, which could normally be acquired over a period of approximately two years.
**Recent is defined as experience obtained in the last five (5) years
Experience using Microsoft Office Software.
Training or certification in First Aid and/or WHMIS.
Experience using an electronic patient record and scheduler.
Experience providing reception, scheduling or other administrative duties in a dental office.
English essential
