Intent of the process

This is an anticipatory process with the intent to establish a pool of essentially- or partially-qualified candidates to fill future staffing needs. This pool of candidates may be used to staff similar positions of various tenures (casual employment, term or indeterminate) at Transport Canada, Quebec Region.

EDUCATION:
Diploma of collegial studies (DCS) or Attestation of collegial studies (ACS) or Diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in the field of administration or office automation/technology.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience providing administrative or clerical support services in an office environment, such as word processing, photocopying, filing and data entry;
• Experience providing client services delivery in person or by telephone or electronically;
• Experience using spreadsheet, word processing and email software.

• Experience in records management such as classifying records, file maintenance and file disposition;
• Experience in data entry;

• Experience providing support services in finance or accounting;
• Experience in business travel support services such as making travel arrangements, preparing itineraries, and processing travel claims;
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint;
• Experience organising meetings.
