Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates will be created and will be used to staff permanent and temporary CR- 04 positions in the DFO Accounting and Procurement Hubs in Fredericton, NB. Please note that the pool created with this process will only be used to staff positions in the DFO Accounting and Procurement Hubs in Fredericton, NB.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial or territorial requirements or; an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in using word processing, spreadsheet and emails software such as Microsoft Office.
Experience in providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing.
Experience in the provision of administrative support services.
Experience working in an accounting environment.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in monitoring financial expenditures.
Experience in verifying financial documents.
Experience in data entry using a computerized Accounting System.
Experience using Oracle Financials and/or Kofax/Markview.
