The Programs Branch (PB) manages consolidated program delivery on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC)'s for Canada's agriculture, agri-food and agri-based products sector.
Immediate need:
⇨ To staff one (1) position on a full-time permanent basis.
Qualified candidates will also be placed in a talent pool to be used for staffing similar permanent or temporary positions.
The pool can be used to staff similar positions with various linguistic profiles and security level requirements in Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, or in the Public Service with various tenures, various linguistic requirements or profiles, various security requirements, various conditions of employment and for various locations.

Possession of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) of Canada designation and;
CISA® or CIA® certification.
Recent experience* assessing and documenting controls (e.g. financial, privacy, security, business processes).
*Recent experience is defined as normally associated with the breadth and depth of two consecutive years of experience obtained within the last four (4) years.

ASSESSEMENT INFORMATION
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Failing to do so could result in your application being rejected.
All information obtained and communication relating to this process, including email correspondence, may be used in the assessment of qualifications and evaluation of candidates.
Depending on the number of applicants, volume management strategies such as random selection, top-down approach and/or establishing cut-off scores to determine who will continue in the staffing process, may be used for the purpose of managing applications. Please note that although you may attain the established pass mark on any of the assessments used in this staffing process, management may decide to use a higher cut off score.
A written examination and/or an interview will be administered.
Reference checks will be conducted and you will be asked to provide contact information for two employer references. . Reference checks will be sought near the end of the selection process. The Assessment Committee reserves the right to contact references other than the ones submitted by the candidates if found necessary, in order to make a suitable assessment of the candidates.
Proof of your education credentials will be required at a later date.
INVENTORY INFORMATION
The initial extraction period will be three (3) weeks from the posting date.
Extractions from this selection process may occur throughout and after the advertisement period.
Results from previous extractions may be deemed valid for future extractions.
You can only be assessed (screening, exam, interview or reference) once per extraction.
