The immediate intent of this poster is to fill up to one (1) position.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements (English Essential or Bilingual Imperative), various security requirements, various conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with acceptable specialization in social science, statistics, library/archival work, a law-related field or a field related to the position being staffed or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience related to the position.
OR
Successful completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician Program.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
EXPERIENCE
Recent experience within the last five (5) years of at least two (2) years with pharmaceutical inventory control and procurement.
Experience using Pharmacy management systems.
ASSET QUALIFICATION
EXPERIENCE
Experience supervising staff.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of theory, principles, and practices of pharmaceutical inventory management.
Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Acts and Regulations that govern pharmacy practices in Ontario.
Knowledge of National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Practice and Regulatory Standards for Pharmacy Technicians.
ABILITIES
Ability to analyze information from a variety of sources and make informed recommendations to Regional Pharmacist and senior management.
Ability to plan, organize and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders (internal and external).
Ability to communicate effectively orally.

Member in good standing as registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacy.
