A pool of (fully or partially) qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Possession of a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Plumbing Journeyperson Certificate

Recent experience in a wide range of plumbing/sprinkler fitting trade related systems in a commercial or industrial setting.

Recent experience in steam hydronic heating and cooling.

Recent experience in the use of computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and Excel.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Possession of a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitting Journeyperson’s Certificate.

Possession of a valid Sprinkler Fitter Journeyperson Certificate.

AWWA (American Water Works Association) Certification (Cross Connection Control).

Experience in maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment.

Conditions of employment

Security clearance: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Enhanced Reliability Status.

Possession of a valid Canadian Driver’s License equivalent to a Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License.

When submitting an application to this selection process, you will be prompted to answer screening questions concerning the essential education and experience qualifications. It is recommended that you describe the experience examples in specific terms, providing sufficient details so that the Assessment Board can clearly understand. Describe the situation/task, the action you took, what you accomplished and/or what you learned. The content of your response must be supported by your resume as your responses to these questions will be used as a primary source of information and your resume will only be used to validate this information. Should you indicate in your response "please refer to resume" your application will be rejected. Lack of examples and details will result in your application being rejected as the Assessment Board will have insufficient information to determine if the requirement is met.

All applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include  (but not limited to),  reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.

Must be willing and able to relocate and/or work in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Preference

Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
