Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialisation in clinical, forensic or counselling psychology or in another psychological speciality relevant to the position
Significant* experience in the provision of psychological services in a forensic or psychiatric setting.
*Significant is normally defined as having at least 3 years of experience.
Doctoral degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialisation in clinical, forensic or counselling psychology or in another psychological speciality relevant to the position.
Experience managing human resources.
Experience managing financial resources.
Experience in developing partnerships.
Experience as a manager within a correctional and/or related environment
Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment
English essential
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of the issues and trends affecting the management and delivery of mental health programs.
Knowledge of principles and applications of psychological services such as assessment, treatment, programs and crisis intervention.
