As part of the Oceans Protection Plan, Minister of Transport announced a review of changes to the Navigation Protection Act. The Navigation Protection Program administers and enforces the provisions of this legislation, the regulations conferred by this act and others. The Program Support Officer will be responsible of coordinating, planning, developing, implementing and monitoring project and activities to support the program. This includes:
• Preparing project/recipient risk assessments;
• Developing mitigation strategies;
• Monitoring performance indicators and monitoring agreements between Transport Canada and other organizations;
• Implementing stakeholder engagement and service standards for projects;
• Coordinating, preparing, and monitoring project/program budgets and outputs;
• Preparing key strategic documents and overall program results.

- Recent experience* providing services to the public;
- Recent experience* working with and/or implementing a records management system (database);
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data and providing recommendations;
