Willing and eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the association in the preferred province of employment, at the time of appointment: Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB), The College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia (CRNNS), The Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL).
* An indeterminate incumbent of a position formerly classified as PM, who became a NU-EMA on October 1, 2011, who does not meet the requirement for “eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada”, as indicated above, is deemed to meet this minimum standard for NUEMA positions only, based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing NU-EMA positions only. This note also applies to a person appointed or deployed for an indeterminate period to a NU-EMA position after October 1, 2011 as the result of a staffing transaction started before October 1, 2011.
Significant* experience in clinical settings; or long term care settings; or rehabilitation settings; or public health; or home care; or other experience relevant to the position.
*Significant means at least two years continuous experience.

Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in nursing.
Experience in specialized nursing in areas such as psychiatric, medical surgical, oncology, neurological, medical rehabilitation or palliative care.
Adjudication experience with Canada Pension Plan Disability, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Veteran’s Affairs, private insurers, or other medically-based disability programs.
Reliability Status security clearance
Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
Willingness/Ability to work overtime as required.
Travel may be required for training and/or developmental purposes.
