The student will mainly do dissections of swine mammary glands and will also participate in milking sows.
The work will be performed at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada R & D Centre in Sherbrooke (Québec). The mammary dissection work will be done in a laboratory and the sow milkings will be done in the swine centre.

Currently enrolled in an agriculture Bachelor’s program in a recognized post-secondary academic institution with specialization in Animal Production or Animal Science
Experience in handling large animals

Reliability Status security clearance - Each student hired through the Research Affiliate Program (RAP) must meet the security requirements of the position as a condition of employment, and therefore will be asked by the hiring organization to complete security-relevant documents.
Known allergies must be controlled through the use of person protective equipment and/or medication and must not impinge upon the duties to be performed.
With appropriate safety precautions in place, must be able and willing to work in laboratory for extended periods at a time.
