Education:
- Bachelor in Law, obtained at the latest on December 31st, 2020.
When applying, the candidate must provide proof that they have obtained a minimum of 36 credits that are accepted in their law degree program. If you were educated outside of Canada, you must have your certificates and/or diplomas assessed against Canadian education standards. This will enable you to provide proof of Canadian equivalency when applying for a job in the public service. The public service will accept any Foreign Educational Credentials as long as they are deemed comparable to Canadian standards, through a recognized credential assessment service (http://www.cicic.ca/415/credential-assessment-services.canada).
Experience:
- Experience paid and/or volunteer, training and/or education.

If you are not registered with a Canadian faculty of civil law, you will be asked to explain what is your plan to be eligible to the internship (articling) of the Barreau du Québec in 2021.

Operational Requirements:
- Possession of a valid driver's licence. Note: the licence class must, at a minimum, authorize the driver to drive a car, van or small truck, on all roads and highways without an accompanying driver.
- Requirement to travel which may include assignments on short notice and for extended periods.
- Ability and willingness to work outside normal working hours which may include working evenings, nights and weekends based on operational needs.
- Enhanced Reliability security clearance.
- The candidate must be admissible to article in accordance with the École du Barreau du Québec at the latest on December 31, 2021, and during the articling appointment.
- All conditions of employment must be met and maintained by applicants throughout their tenure in the position.
