Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff one indeterminate (permanent) position in Valcartier. Meanwhile, a pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions for determinate (casual) periods. This pool could be used to fill similar positions within the Department of National Defense in Quebec area with various language proficiencies and security profiles.

Education:
Post secondary school diploma in medical archives or combination of education, training

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Experience in supervising an administrative team in a clinical setting

Experience in a health care environment.

Experience in managing health information and records .

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

French essential

Information on language requirements

Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively orally

Ability to communicate effectively in writing

Ability to plan and prioritize.

Ability to analyze various problematic situations and suggest solutions.

Be a member of the Quebec Association of Medical Recorders (QAMR) or the College of Medical Archivists of Canada
