Duties

The student will conduct research for his or her project. He or she will review the related literature, collect and compile scientific data, synthesize and analyze data and write a Master’s dissertation and/or scientific articles. On occasion, he or she may help the team as needed.

Work environment

The student will have access to a desk and computer, as well as to the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Research and Development Centre laboratory. He or she will also receive technical support from a research professional.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in a Master’s program in remote sensing at a recognized post-secondary educational institution.

Degree equivalency

Experience* in remote sensing project management
Experience* using geographic information systems
Experience* in doing web mapping

*In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
