WORK LOCATION: All positions to be filled by this process are located in Ottawa. Successful candidates, if not already located within commuting distance, must be willing to relocate.
LANGUAGE: At a minimum, intermediate proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is required for all positions. Successful completion of the Public Service Commission second-language evaluations will be required prior to hiring.

This collective staffing process will be used to fill multiple bilingual positions at the AS-02 (administrative services, level 2) classification in various branches of HC and PHAC in Ottawa.
Our intent is to complete the assessment process as quickly as possible. Candidates are expected to check their e-mail and GCJobs accounts regularly for information on the process. Candidates who do not respond to inquiries from the assessment team by the required deadlines may be eliminated from consideration.
Interviews for this process will be completed via pre-recorded video interviews. Candidates will be asked to record their responses to interview questions using their own computer or mobile device. Information on the video interview process will be sent to candidates who are selected for an interview at a later date.

Operational requirements will vary depending on the position being staffed and may include any of the following:
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
Ability to work overtime on short notice
Possession of a valid driver's license
Ability to work in a laboratory environment
Ability to lift and move objects up to 22kg
Reliability Status security clearance - Some positions may require a Secret or Top Secret security clearance
