Significant* experience in interpreting and applying the Access to Information Act
Experience interpreting and applying one of the following acts:
• the Privacy Act
• any equivalent provincial/municipal acts
• the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)
Experience in providing advice and recommendations to senior management** on Access to Information and Privacy files.
Experience liaising with internal or external clients.
Experience providing information sessions.
* Significant: minimum 3 years experience.
**Senior management is defined as: anyone above your direct supervisor.
Graduation with a degree** or college diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
** Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.

Experience analyzing Privacy breaches.
Experience preparing Privacy statements.
Experience analyzing concerns for programs/initiatives.
Experience in the development/coordination of a Privacy Impact Assessment.
