The immediate intent of this poster is to fill up to one (1) position.
A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements (English Essential or Bilingual Imperative), various security requirements, various conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
EXPERIENCE
Significant* experience providing direct primary care or public health services
Significant* experience providing advice or recommendations to management on health issues.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams, working groups or committees.
Experience leading the development, implementation or evaluation of health programs.
*Significant is defined as experience gained over a period of four (4) years of full time work or equivalent.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience providing direct health care services to Indigenous populations
Experience providing direct health services to Northern or remote communities.
Experience working in a home-care, continuing care or long-term care setting.
Experience applying population-based health approaches.
Experience leading the development and implementation of community mobilization strategies.
Experience leading the development and/or delivery of educational and training programs.
Experience leading the development or adaptation of evidence-based clinical guidance.
Experience working in communicable disease control.
Experience leading the development operational frameworks, strategies, or performance indicators for the effective management of nursing services.
Experience conducting environmental scans to identify, prioritize, and resolve emerging health service delivery concerns and issues.
Experience in interpreting and applying health care research data to inform policy or practice decisions.
Experience working with external stakeholders or partners.
Experience managing human resources
Experience leading the development of budgets or costing frameworks.
Experience applying a quality improvement lens to service delivery.
