EDUCATION
ED1: Successful completion of a post secondary school program in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
OC1: Possession of a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category M1 and M2.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Significant and recent experience* as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, maintaining and/or supervising the maintenance of fixed wing aircraft or as an Instructor in fixed wing aircraft maintenance.
*Definition of significant and recent experience:
- Significant experience means at least five years of relevant experience.
- Recent is defined as approximately within the last five years.
EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience in using a computerized aircraft maintenance system.
AEX2: Experience in the use of Microsoft software application such as MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
AEX3: Experience in the maintenance of aircraft types applicable to the position, (DHC-7 and 8, C90A, CL601/4, C550 and C206).
AEX4: Experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor.
