The immediate need is to staff one position with a language requirement of bilingual imperative BBB/BBB on an indeterminate basis.
This selection process may be used to establish a pool of partially qualified and/or qualified candidates which could be used to staff similar positions at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions.

EDUCATION
- Graduation from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in computer science, accounting, management information systems (MIS), business, commerce, economics mathematics, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
EXPERIENCE
- Recent* and significant** experience working as a project manager or business analyst.
- Experience leading requirements development sessions and working with the business to define, collect, document and present detailed business requirements.
- Experience leading IM/IT projects in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience conducting interviews and workshops to map out process flows.
*Recent is defined as “within the last 5 years.
**Significant means the depth and breadth of experience that is normally acquired by performing the tasks over a period of 10 years or more.
ASSET EDUCATION
- Additional education or certifications in the realms of project management, business analysis, or ITIL.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
- Experience developing and delivering of user training strategies, training plans and training sessions.
- Experience working within an electronic data and record management system (EDRMS) or workflow environment documenting business or technical requirements.
- Experience developing technical requirements.
- Experience conducting technology gap as well as analysis developing business and process models.
- Experience developing and delivering of user acceptance testing strategies, test plans and cases.
- Experience working with business intelligence systems.
- Extensive experience delivering business systems solutions in a team environment.
- Experience working with agile/ITIL tools (Team Foundation Server (TFS), HEAT Change Management).

OSFI's Ottawa location is downtown with easy access to shopping, restaurants, gyms, financial institutions and more. The building is less than a five minute walk from the Transitway and from the nearest STO stop.
As a Separate Agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) appoints employees in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). OSFI is named in Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and it offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core Federal Public Service. In addition to this, OSFI employees obtain a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
