Intent of the process

The initial intent is to fill an immediate need for temporary (term) positions at the Pay Centre Satellite offices within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

Should there be a need, a pool of candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions of various tenures at Pay Centre Satellite offices in Montreal, QC; Ottawa, ON; Toronto, ON or Gatineau, QC within PSPC.

EDUCATION:
- Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

* An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as the successful completion of 2 years of secondary school and a minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative or clerical services related to the duties of the position to be filled.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in providing administrative services
- Experience in dealing with individuals in a client service environment
- Experience in the use of various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel or Outlook

EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in payroll or processing compensation and benefits
