Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in natural sciences or biological sciences, with acceptable specialization in a field relevant to the position such as biology, ecology or forestry.
Experience in field identification, surveys or monitoring of plant and/or wildlife species in British Columbia

Asset Qualifications
Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in natural sciences or biological sciences, with acceptable specialization in a field relevant to the position such as biology, ecology or forestry.
Experience in administering and supervising contracts
Knowledge of legislation and policy governing forest management in British Columbia
Knowledge of ecosystem classification systems used in British Columbia.
Reliability Status security clearance
Valid driver’s licence
Willing and able to work flexible hours and overtime
Willing and able to do strenuous field work
Medical clearance in accordance with Treasury Board Occupational Health Evaluation Standards for field work
Willing and able to drive field vehicles (including trucks and all-terrain vehicles)
