The initial intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate, bilingual imperative CBC/CBC position.
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates resulting from this process may be established to fill similar positions bilingual imperative CBC/CBC with various tenures (temporary or permanent) within the Public Service of Canada.

EDUCATION:
ED1 - Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics, or another specialty relevant to the position.
*Degree: Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1 - Experience in leading internal audit engagements or in leading related activities*
* Related activities includes quality assurance reviews and development of Risk-Based Audit Plans.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS (other qualifications)
If you possess any of the following professional designations, degrees or experience qualifications, you are encouraged to complete the screening questions in the application as these may be used to screen candidates. PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION:
PD1 - A recognized professional designation: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Audit Professional (CGAP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
EDUCATION:
AED1 - Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or some other specialty relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE:
AEX1 - Experience in providing liaison services between a Canadian federal department and external assurance providers, such as the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development.
AEX2 - Experience in providing strategic advice on audit related matters to Senior Management*.
AEX3 - Experience in planning, conduct and reporting of external audits (such as performance or financial audits).
AEX4 - Experience in providing support to a Departmental Audit Committee or to a Senior Management* Committee. This must include, at a minimum, the performance OR supervision of the following activities:
• planning committee meetings;
• working with committee members;
• working with senior executives and/or their support staff; and
• writing records of decisions.
AEX5 - Experience in preparing briefing material for Senior Management*.
AEX6 -Experience in establishing partnerships, collaborating and liaising with senior management*.
*Senior management is defined as Director General level (EX-03) and above, or senior executives in private or public sector organizations external to the Federal Public Service of Canada.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

K2 - Knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques.
