The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers. DNDs role is to provide services and support to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in their operations and missions at home and abroad. As a civilian employee, you will be an important part of the Defence Team.
19 Wing Comox is based on Vancouver Island. Its Aurora crews keep watch over the Pacific Ocean while its search and rescue teams regularly locate downed Aircraft in some of Canada's roughest terrain while another squadron helps train fighter pilots in tactical procedures.
The intent of this process is to staff casual Cleaner positions. This process may be used to staff similar positions.

Information on language requirements
Experience providing cleaning services in a commercial, institutional or medical setting.
Experience providing cleaning services in a military environment
Experience in supervising and coordinating the work of other cleaners, including one or more of:
- Inspecting facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Providing coaching and/or performance feedback to staff
- Handling complaints

Interpersonal relationships
