The immediate need is staff one full-time indeterminate position in Surrey.
A qualified group of candidates may be identified and may be used to staff future vacancies (including similar positions, on a term, permanent, or acting basis, at full or part time hours) located in Surrey, Kelowna or Victoria.
Once established, the qualified pool will be valid for a period of one year and may be extended.
The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates inclusive of Public Service (PS) employees and Civilian Members (CM); for various positions with various tenures, various security profiles and various language requirements.
Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:
1. Significant and recent* experience as an Intercept Monitor Analyst working on the Central Communication Intercept System (CenCIS II).
2. Experience applying Part VI and XV of the Criminal Code pertaining to the interception of telecommunications.
3. Experience in analyzing information, data or reports from a variety of Intercept connectivity methods and devices.
4. Experience preparing or providing testimony in court.
*Significant and recent is defined as having performed the duties required for a minimum of 3 years within the last 5 years.
