In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
Experience in machine learning and/or artificial intelligence.
Experience in application development using Java, MS .NET and/or Python languages
Significant* experience in working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Experience writing IM/IT technical documentation, such as manuals, procedures, guidelines, requirements.

Significant* is defined as the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various, complex related activities over a period of approximately 2 years.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in computer science, geology or earth sciences.

Degree equivalency

Experience supporting geological related database systems.
Experience in working with GIS Platforms in the Cloud.
Experience developing web services (e.g. WMS, WFS).
Experience working with web technologies including, but not limited to, Java EE, PHP,.NET MVC, Spring, CSS, HTML5, AJAX and JavaScript.
