The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) owns and operates the federal government's civilian fleet, and provides key maritime services to Canadians. As a Special Operating Agency of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), the CCG helps DFO meet its responsibility to ensure safe and accessible waterways for Canadians. The CCG also plays a key role in ensuring the sustainable use and development of Canada's oceans and waterways.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada across Canada with various language requirements and various security requirements. These positions may be of different tenures.

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Experience using a computerized inventory control system.
Experience working in supply chain operational environment such as shipping, receiving, stores or warehousing
Experience using Microsoft Office, in particular MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Experience in the storage, handling, disposal and on-site transportation of dangerous goods
Experience providing support on asset management (disposal activity, data entry and asset verification)
Various language requirements
