This process will be used to staff the above-mentioned position. A pool of
partially qualified candidates resulting from this process will also be established
and may be used to staff similar positions within the Department of National
Defence.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation by December 31, 2018 with a diploma from a recognized post-secondary
institution in a minimum 2 year technology program such as: electrical, electronic,
aerospace, mechanical, maritime, software or industrial engineering
technology.

Degree equivalency

Knowledge of aircraft, marine or land vehicle technology.
Knowledge of business principles and practices in management and quality
assurance;
Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 10000 series of international standards;
Knowledge in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing company
or in the maintenance of mechanical, aeronautical, electronic or industrial
equipment

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

• Trainees must attain and maintain a Level II (Secret) security clearance prior
to graduating from the Program.
• Must be capable of and agreeable to regularly travelling to contractors’ facilities;
• Must possess of a valid driver’s license; and
• Candidates will be required to wear protective Clothing as they might be
exposed to regular plant hazards such as but not limited to: radiation and
nuclear material, volatile fumes, operating machinery, vehicular traffic, noise,
fumes, heat and cold.
