A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

EX1: Experience in analyzing clients' requirements and in providing advice.
EX2: Experience in conducting quality control measures of new and modified web documents.
EX3: Experience working in a team environment and assisting other team members.
EX4: Experience in preparing HTML and/or PDF format documents for the purposes of electronic dissemination.

Knowledge:

K1: Knowledge of HTML, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG2.0), Web Experience Toolkit (WET), and cascading style sheets (CSS)
and/or
Publishing standards for formatting texts, tables, and preparing charts for online publications using Adobe InDesign Software.

Abilities:

A1: Ability to communicate effectively orally.
A2: Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

AEX1: Experience coding HTML documents using the Government of Canada Web Experience Toolkit (WET).
AEX2: Experience using Adobe Dreamweaver.
AEX3: Experience using adaptive screen reader software technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Zoomtext, etc.
AEX4: Experience using web accessibility validation tools.
AEX5: Experience in preparing online publications in PDF format using InDesign.
AEX6: Experience in creating charts in Microsoft Excel and/or Adobe Illustrator.
