Application Development Database and Data Administration (ADDDA)’s main office is situated in Gatineau, Quebec currently located on Rue Montclair, near a shopping centre, bike paths, a walking trail, and restaurants and shops nearby. Parking is readily available at a relatively modest monthly fee, and local transit stops a few short steps from our doors. ADDDA will, likely in the near future, be moving to join the rest of the Information Management Branch team in downtown Gatineau (Hull Sector), where there is easy access to a wider range of resto-bars, cafes and shopping nearby. It is only a short walk to the parks surrounding the Theatre de l’île with walking trails and bike paths, as well as simpler transit access for those coming from Ottawa. THIS PROCESS IS TO STAFF POSITION(S) LOCATED IN CHIEF FINANCE, RESULTS AND DELIVERY OFFICER SECTOR at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada in the National Capital Region and various regional locations across Canada.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Notes:
1. Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CS group.
2. The recognized educational institution (e.g. community college, CÉGEP or university) determines if the courses taken by a candidate correspond to two years of a post-secondary program at the institution.
3. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met using this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience* in developing Object-Oriented code from system design documentation;
Experience* in developing SQL (Structured Query Language) code;
Experience* in performing testing and quality assurance related activities.
For the purpose of this selection process, the following definitions apply:
* Experience is defined as having directly performed the duties for a minimum of (2) two years.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree (baccalaureate) from a recognized post-secondary institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or any other specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification;
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD);
Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD).
EXPERIENCE:
Experience with establishing software testing procedures for unit testing, integration testing and regression testing;
Experience in writing or reviewing technical specifications;
Experience developing Web interfaces using W3C standards and JavaScript frameworks or Government of Canada Web Standards;
Experience configuring and implementing solutions for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform;
Experience customizing and implementing enterprise wide Commercial Off-The-Shelve (COTS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of techniques and methodologies for implementing W3C accessibility standards and Government of Canada Web Standards and Web Experience Toolkit.
Various language requirements
Positions could be staffed with various Language requirements: French Essential, English Essential, Bilingual BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC or CCC/CCC.

Knowledge of Object-Oriented design using .NET Technologies (.NET Framework, ASP.NET and VB.NET) or Java;
