Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one position in Whitehorse, YT on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of English Essential and an RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance.

A pool of candidates will be established and will be used to staff positions within the RCMP in Surrey, BC, Victoria, BC, Summerland, BC, Kamloops, BC, Prince George, BC, and Whitehorse, YT on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with English Essential linguistic profiles and RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearances. The pool of candidates may be used to staff similar position within the RCMP in E & M Divisions on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

*Significant and **recent experience conducting interviews to obtain detailed information

*Significant and **recent experience preparing correspondence that articulates detailed decisions or recommendations

Experience building partnerships with internal and external partners

Experience working in a computerized or technological environment
