***VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: It is the responsibility of the candidate to clearly outline that they meet each of the screening criteria (i.e. Education and Experience Qualifications, both Essential and Assets) in the SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE, which is provided during the application process. Please note that it is not sufficient to only state that the requirement is met or to provide a listing of past or current responsibilities, rather the candidate must provide concrete and detailed examples that illustrate how they meet the requirement. Failure to do so could result in the application being rejected from the process. The screening board cannot make any assumptions about your experience and will not contact candidates for additional or potentially missing information.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES REGARDING THE SCREENING QUESTIONS:

1. The purpose of these screening questions is to help you submit an application that is clear, complete and persuasive and demonstrates that you have all of the required essential education and experience qualifications and some or all of the asset education and experience qualifications.

2. Each question is divided into two parts. The first part consists of a simple question requiring a YES or NO answer. If your answer is "yes", the second part will ask to fully demonstrate how you obtained this qualification by responding to some sub-questions.

3. Responses will not be considered satisfactory if you simply state that you have the required qualifications or provide a list of current or past responsibilities or paraphrase the qualifications.

Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar CR-04 positions with various linguistic profiles and/or requirements as well as tenures (temporary or permanent appointment) and/or the security clearance reliability or secret), which may vary according to the position being staffed. If a pool is created, it will be valid for a period of one year. Any extensions made to this pool beyond the one year period will be subject to the proper approvals.

This process will only be used to staff positions in Thunder Bay, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario.
